Bamboo is a completely natural tool; these long hard straight sticks have slight flexibility to them due to the silica covering its outer cell walls. Hot stone massage

This is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated basalt stones as an extension of their own hands or by placing them on the body.

The Stones are heated by water and can be place at specific sites on the client's body to promote relaxation and to help open up the meridian (energy pathways). Muscles are pre- treated with the hot stones. This allows the therapist to perform deep tissue manipulations easily. Perfect, especially for a winters day.
